A1 BMW specialist is the ultimate independent BMW service and parts centre. Our BMW service department is dedicated to delivering a quality service for your BMW and Mini maintenance as well as any BMW repair needs. When insurance companies declare a car a write-off, it notifies Authorized Treatment Facilities, like us, who then we buy from the insurance companies. Then we transport the vehicles to our facility, where they are ID-checked, photographed and booked onto our computer system – something we'll come to later. The cars are then tested so that an evaluation of each and every part can be made, after which the car is drained of all its fluids – engine oil, gearbox oil, diff oil, brake fluid, anti freeze etc), which are environmentally stored and recycled where possible.
After this, the car is dismantled and all the useable parts are made available for sale, whilst any parts that are damaged are sent for recycling or left on the car, which is taken for crushing and recycling – all in all, a very green and eco-friendly process that ensures we get the best second hand parts without damage to the environment.

Not only that, but the system links in with the website so that you can check what BMW or Mini parts are available by looking at our database, with a handy search function so that you can check for parts in seconds – very high-tech indeed.
